Ginger Switchel is the modern-day revival of an age-old fermented elixir. An energising and zingy syrup, designed for cocktails and spritzes.
Switchel is based on an old American recipe, famed during the Prohibition-era. It was drunk by everyone from farmers to senators alike. During the temperance movement, it made a great non-alcoholic cocktail with a bit of a bite and a warming finish, but there are stories of it also being blended with dark rum (which is also delicious!).
